Mar 17, 2006 · I have a 12 year old Brittany Spaniel, that has been having breathing problems for months that seem to be getting worse. At first he had a slight weeze to his breathing, but this has progressed to a constant deep gasp for air. The doctor gave him valium to calm him down.
